Melty Heart

Good Morning!

Just a quick and easy Meltpot card today...

I used a heart bezel to pour the UTEE into, then popped it out when cool so I can re-use the bezel.

The lacy square is my Moroccan tile cutting die from Cheery Lynn

The large bead cap which I glued onto the heart is from Hobby House.

Hope you like it.

Thanks for stopping by.

Winter Mittens

Good afternoon!

Start of another busy week prepping for classes, tv and retail shows. I still can't show most of what I've been creating recently, but I can give you a tiny preview of another magazine piece...

This is one of the cards I did for Creative Cardmaking 59, on sale now.

The theme was creating Christmas using non-Christmas stash.

If you like this one and would like to know more about it or the other cards in the set, go grab a copy of the magazine from either your local craft shop or online at Cutting Edge Crafts.

Thanks for stopping by, come back soon when hopefully I will have time/energy to give you all the latest Clarity goss!

Use up the good bits

Morning!

Hope your well, I know lots of you are starting to turn the heating on.

There's a bit of blue sky here today so I'm gonna try and enjoy that while it lasts.

I'm at that point again where I can't show you most of what I've been creating because its either for workshops, magazine or telly.

I did find this though..

I don't think I've shown you this one.

I was playing with the Leafy Swirl stencil from Clarity, the first print is always a tester and usually has too much paint, but I liked a big area on this one, so I chopped it down and used what I liked.

And I love my little Clarity Thank You circle stamp, perfect size for a dazzler in the middle.

Hope you like it

Thanks for stopping by.

Create...

Good evening!

Just a quick post before bed, it's been a lovely day at Craft Range demoing the Meltpot.

I made this canvas as a sample to leave at the store for display, i didn't want to say goodbye to it though because I really loved how it turned out, so I think I might have to reproduce it.

There are lots of Melty techniques packed in to this.

Hope you like it!

Ok I'm gone, need sleep ready for the Preston meeting of Claritystampers Northwest tomorrow.

Thanks for stopping by.

Melty Peek...

Hellllo! Well it's neither morning or afternoon...

I'm getting quite excited about the weekend, it's gonna be a cracker!

Saturday I will be among some great demonstrators at the Craft Range in Burnley.

Here's a little peek at one of my Meltpot samples

Here are all the details.

Then on Sunday I'm in Preston with Claritystampers Northwest, we have some more of my fave stamps to play with. No sneak peeks of that I'm afraid, I dont tend to show current workshop projects on bloggy.

I'm currently trying to sort a venue out to take Claritystamping to Shrewsbury, not as easy as you might imagine...so if you know anywhere please shout me.

Wirral venue? I was supposed be getting a phonecall with a price yesterday, so I'm gonna chase it again today.

Back to work I go, thanks for stopping by, have a good one.

Wedding Day

Good afternoon, well it will be by the time I write this post...

Mad busy this week, for a change!

So quickly, here is the card I made for my friend Sharon, she married Mike on Saturday-Congratulations to you both.

I thought it was a good excuse to use my new Heartfelt Creations cutting die set from Oyster, along with my fave Cheery Lyn swirl, and it would have been rude of me not to use some yummy blooms from Sweet Lilac Flowers.

I did regret that I didn't have more time to put lots of white layers to this one, and i would rather have used a stamped greeting than a peel-off but I didn't have a small enough Wedding stamp.

I stumbled upon a challenge that includes flowers over at Just Inspirational Challenges, so I think this will do just fine for that.

Also, there is still time to enter the Summertime blog challenge over at Sweet Lilac.

Ok quick cuppa then back to the laundry, windows, hutches, bathroom, dishes, magazine deadline, tv samples, class prep, demo prep, bit more laundry, invoices, yep I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed today!

Thanks for stopping by, I know I'm not the only busy chappy, so your visits are most appreciated.

Lilac Saplings

Good Afternoon

Hope your Sunday is going well?

The sun is out here so I think I'm going to tackle a troublesome garden fence among other things, but before I get cracking...

Here is another Clarity sample from last weekend.

I used up a bit of Gelli background that I did through a square aperture, stamped the Saplings and Duck in Purple Twilight, then stamped the Duck again in Black and added accent to the Saplings with black pen.

Done!

Also got to show you this.. Amber appeared around the door with her 'breakfast'...

How's that for a first attempt!

I hope she doesn't want to play with her lunch though...Chicken in mushroom sauce, could get messy.

Thanks for stopping by.

Vintage Gelli car

Good morning, I hope!

This is a scheduled post...

I sometimes forget to show you magazine stuff because quite a long time passes between making the projects and being published, so I thought I would try scheduling them in advance.

This is one of 4 Gelli plate cards made for Creative Cardmaking.

Hope you like it! Have a good Saturday.

Fly over land, glide over lake...

Good morning, it's been a few days I know..

I'm hanging my head in shame and offer no excuses, although I have a couple.

Anyway, I'm here now, so here is another Clarity sample from the weekend.

I really enjoy brayering Canyon scenes and haven't had an excuse to do one for a while, I used Denim and Pitch Black inks to Brayer. I mixed the 2 sets of ducks together for this one, I googled to get the colours realistic but being honest I would have preferred doing powder blue to match the background, also I have mixed my 'bad' colours so I hope they look ok,my system of having everything Green and blue labelled clearly helps I think - oh the joys of being colour blind. The kids laugh at my fave colour being Orange, they say its because its the only colour I can actually see! Cheeky beggars.

We three kings

Happy Monday to ya!

Yeah I don't like Mondays much either, and this is the last one that I can have a little lie in, the kids are back in school on Wednesday.

Anyways, here is another of my Clarity samples from the weekend...

This is the new Three kings set.

I have been short on energy and time this month so I used up a couple of Gelli pieces that I had.

I heat embossed the images to make them stand out more but I wish I had done the star black instead of gold.

Ok that's all for today, thanks for stopping by.

Ello Ducky!

Good morning, although it feels like middle of the day because I've been up most of the night, I think a little nap may occur later...

I've been waiting patiently to be able to show you my Clarity samples for this weekends shows..

Here is the first one.

This looks a bit nicer in the flesh..no camera glare for one thing.

I used a couple of shades of Perfect Pearls on Black Clarity card.

I love the Saplings, they make a lovely frame too.

Hope you like it, have a good one!

Birdhouse

Afternoon!

I just realised i didn't blog yesterday, so if I don't blog today either.......I'm trying to be a good blogger like I used to be,but I can't show you so much of what I've been working on lately.

Soooo, here's another magazine card to keep us ticking over.

I do love the Classroom Birdhouse kit, if you would like instructions for this or any of the other cards in the same feature, you need to grab a copy of Creative Stamping 12 available from craft shops or from Cutting Edge Crafts website with free postage.

Now speaking of Classroom kits, don't forget Barbara is back on Create and Craft tomorrow with the Classroom show and Sunday with the regular shows, the new stamps and stencils are now loaded onto the C&C website.

Back to work for me, have a good one whatever your doing.

Make your own, part 2.

Evening, yes I'm late on parade today, I've been to the zoo.

I did remember though, I said I would show you the other cards in this series...

So here they are.

The top one was made with a piece of foam cut randomly then die cut to remove a heart.

I also used a Clarity sentiment.

Below was made with the heart cut from the other piece of foam, I used a bit of stamp kissing on that one with my small Leafy Swirl from Clarity.

It was a fun assignment to do, but I still needed my beloved Claritystamps too!

So what do you think?

Make your own....

Good Morning

Back to work for lots of you, short week though if your an 'office hours' person.

I'm gonna be busy prepping a class today, no slacking allowed otherwise I can't go to the zoo tomorrow.

I still have a few bits I haven't shown you, this is part of a set I did for Creative Cardmaking a while ago

The theme was make your own stamps..

For this one I made a background stamp with Dewdrops.

For this one I die cut the music notes from foam

And for this one I used string glued to a wooden block

I thought these 3 were ok for teenagers, tomorrow I will show you the other 3 in the set.

Thanks for stopping by!

Did I show you these?

Good Morning

I was looking through the piccy albums on my iPad and I came across a handful that I don't remember showing you..

But apologies if I have already.

This is a set I did for Creative Stamping ages ago using the free stamps.

I had to make three pieces that could include a small gift, using UTEE.

Pair of earrings....

The photography isn't great....sorry.

A key ring..

Handbag charm.

The paper is from Prima but I can't remember what it's called.

Hope you like them.

Enjoy your Bank Holiday Monday whatever your doing!

Peachy Christmas Tree

Happy Bank Holiday!

I hope your enjoying your long weekend-assuming your not working that is.

I'm working so that I can have a day off on Wednesday, I have magazine work to finish and next weeks workshop needs prepping.

I couldn't decide what to show you today but finally settled on this...

This is another of me demo cards from Wednesday, I used the Through the Window set, the new Christmas Tree set, and the new Dove stencil.

My inspiration came from Lynne Hammond's stunning card, I loved it so much that I asked Lynne if I could do something similar, thanks again Lynne!

If you would like to see Lynne's version, it's here on her blog.

Thanks for stopping by, see you tomorrow.

Dove of Peace

Hellooooo!

Got to be mega fast this morning- I should be in the shower!

If you turn up to the last day of the Nottingham workshops and my hair looks a bit minty, then you'll know I spent too long blogging..

So here is the Dove of Peace card I demo'd on Create and Craft on Wednesday.

All the stamps and the new Stencils are back in stock on the Clarity website!

Right, have a good Friday gang, thanks for stopping by.

Yellow snow....

Morning!

Well I had to blog this one of my demo's first didn't I...

I always have the intention of being ladylike when I go on the telly, but as soon as they put me with Nigel it always ends up in the gutter! Between talking about playing with our 'organs' and peeping Tom snowmen, and the yellow snow....what can I say! I love Mr May.

I thoroughly enjoyed the show yesterday and the new stamps and stencils were such a hit, really made my day when we had sell outs. I must give credit to the design team, they do a great job for Barb and I was very touched when they came through for my show also! And of course we must remember, it all starts with the fantastic Claritystamps....which are all available here.

Right, I'm outa here, it's the first day of workshops in Nottingham, so must dash.

Have a great day gang!

Ooh and leave me a comment so I know you dropped in, I can feel a comment giveaway coming soon...

Lost and confused, even more than usual....

Mornin!

Well I was going to tell you allllllllll about my LITTLE journey down to Peterborough, but to honest I'm too cream crackered to go through it,

But, I have this to say to Mr Highway big shot I'm gonna shut the road off arse wipe maintenance man, YOU OWE ME 40 MILES AND OVER AN HOUR OF MY LIFE, give it back!

I feel a little better now......

No but really, I'm not good with diversion signs, and neither is my satnav, so put me and my satnav together with a road closure and its always gonna end badly!

Deep breathing......

Oh and the bloke in the petrol station who directed me straight back onto the M6...which part of "the road is closed, i need a different route" was unclear to you???

And then, yeah, how did I end up on the M1 going the opposite direction to where I'd come from???

It's no bloody wonder I've put 15,000 miles on that car in 11 months is it, half of that is drivin round the Asda carpark looking for the exit!!

I'm feeling calmer now, so I'm gonna give you a sneaky peek at one of my samples for today....not showing you my Demo's though.

I hope you will make my pain and woe worthwhile and tune in to watch, Create and Craft, 11am, otherwise it's all been for nothing!

One final thought.....

Lol!

Have a good one.
