Almost White on White

Good Morning.

Something with no stamping today for a change.

I combined an A4 embossing script folder, Tonic swirl cutting die, and an old Spellbinder birdcage set.

It's almost white on white but not completely, I sprayed the swirls and birds etc very lightly with silver sparkle so they stood out more.

Hope you like it!

May all your...Gerberas.

Evening!

I said I would show you Jeanette's birthday card didn't I...I'm sure she has opened it by now so it's ok.

I'm trying to be a better friend when it comes to birthday cards, so many good friends didn't get one last year, so hopefully I can make up for it this year-we'll see!

I used the Gerbera stamps again with Distress re-inkers..

One of my fave text stamps too...

And a biiiiig embossing folder from Spellbinders.

Hope you like it.

Thanks for stopping by, keep watching out for a giveaway very soon...

A ladies Diary

Morning!

I'm back from my camping trip and just doing the final wash load, unless Steven has a secret stash of festering undies, not unheard of....

So while I sit for 5 mins before I attempt to watch In the Classroom with Barbara on Create and Craft, I thought I would blog.

This is using the stunning Ladies Diary papers from Graphic 45, I have had them ages but have only recently exited the 'stroking pretty papers' phase, you do it too don't you?

I just cut bits up and added a few pearls, swirls and metal bits, oh and I covered the hexagon in microbeads for texture.

and no ink in sight........

Hope you like it.

Lone sailing ship, and a couple of demo samples..

Evening!

Firstly I would like to say a massive thank you for the huge number of messages and emails I received after my Clarity Take Two shows yesterday!

Also, welcome to a couple of new blog followers, I'm glad you found me.

I haven't loaded all the pics of my demo samples yet so I will show you a couple now and some more tomorrow. But first here is one I found from Barbara's shows that you haven't seen...

This is using one of the new Sailing Ships and the matching musical scroll stamp.

I used an off cut from my Gelli Plate and a bit of pizza box ( I ate that pizza purely so I could create something to show you, no need to thank me)

Hot glue used for this too, it looks nicer in the flesh...I'm just not a great photographer!

Ok, I mentioned demo samples..

This one uses the Aliums, Rose Art set.

I love a bit of black and white.

Next is my painty demo....

This was my fave demo, i used the new Rose Art stencil, letterboc kit, numbers and symbols, and the sentiment, all available from Claritystamp.co.uk

I'm really loving the System 3 paints from Barbara-you only need an extra tube of White and you can mix a ton of nice colours.

Hope you like!

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.

Plastered part 1

Good morning!

Hope it's warming up where you are, will be nice to turn the heating down won't it.

Today's card is the first in a series I did for Creative Cardmaking issue 52,it's the one I write my little diary page for, it's on sale now so go grab it...

Anyways, the piece is all about texture with a difference..

I started with some Tim Holtz Tissue wrap on a card, added some distress inks and Dylusions sprays.

Then added some plaster through sequin waste and brushed with ink lightly.

The little cylinders are made from plaster bandage....

Not telling you any more, go get the mag lol

Hope you like it.

Crafty bit of Kraft..

Good morning!

I just realised I hadn't blogged since Saturday, bad blogger..

Here is another 'use it up' card, yes there is still some more to show you.

I had a ton of little accents from the Moroccan Spellbinders and I got bored using them whole, so I cut a couple down the centre longways to see what they looked like, they make a square frame, so that was my starting point.

The only bits not from the bag of stuff was, the card blank and a bit of black card to mat the music score onto.

Hope you like it, thanks for stopping by.

Special Day

Good morning, it's time for the final card in the handmade paper series..

Another simple one.

I ended up with a couple of odd pieces of paper when I ripped a piece making it,

so I thought I would use it as it was.

I scored it with my hoagie, added some leaves and flowers and a banner.

The sentiment is part of a Claritystamp masked off.

I hope you liked the cards, they were fun to make even though the paper making was messy!

Squiggly writing and moroccan discs..

Mornin!

If blogsy does as it's told I will be halfway to Stevenage when this goes live...

If your passing the Leisure centre come and say hello to the Clarity team.

So today's card, a little out of the ordinary for me isn't it..

It's another 'use it up', the little discs have sat in the bag since I demo'd the Moroccan Spellbinders, this one isn't he most usable in the set but I did quite like how this turned out, what do you think?

so I just added he card blank for this one..

Enjoy your Sunday.

I'm still wading through the 'use it up' cards

Bit of black and white today...

This one uses up the big black Moroccan motif, the silver butterfly circle and the black scallop circle, the lovely white shape was a recent addition to the bag after prepping a class. So I added the punched border, sentiment and twine.oh and the dazzler embelly.

Next piece of business, Theresa I can't find the email with your address, pleeeeeease get in touch again.

Have a good one gang!

Use it up part 2

It's Friday!

Good morning, are you looking forward to the weekend? I know I am, Clarity class tomorrow then down to the trade show on Sunday to see what new goodies are about to hit the shops.

Enough about new goodies though, what about old goodies...

Out of the bag for these two I used the motifs and border strips, shamefully they have been sat in the bag since I launched the Moroccan spellbinders on telly early last year!

it was high time I used those Kraft card blanks too!

The sentiment is from Pink Gem, the embossing folders are from Spellbinders.

Thanks for stopping by!

Use it up part 1

Morning!

I promised I would show you some of the cards I made from The bag of bits...

The first one is made from bits that didn't hang around long

The stamped panel still had masking tape on it from when I did it in class as an extra card, the cog was left over from the same class, so I only added the card blank and the sentiment.

The heart card uses up the flower and the heart,I added the sentiment from Clarity and punched a piece of dark blue card, and the card blank of course.

Hope you like them!

See you soon.

A rose or a thorn?

Good afternoon

Hope you are all well

Today's card is another Clarity sample from the weekend

This one started it's life very differently, I fact it was almost in the bin.

I was supposed to be making a hanging heart, so I painted it then stamped in Archival, then when I glazed it the colour of the archival changed dramatically and I didn't like it anymore. So I threw it to one side, it ended up sat on this sheet of paper near some die cut swirls and I decided it didn't look too bad if I could tie the colours in together. What do you think?

Special.....in the Clarity department!

Good Morning

Today's card is using the cool Butterfly stamp from Clarity coloured with Polychromos pencils.

The aperture is cut from a fancy rectangle Spellbinder.

I stamped the Supersprig, also from Clarity in Tattered Rose and doodled a little with a black fine liner, I'm still undecided about the doodling, what do you think?

The sentiment was masked off, it actually says On Your Special Day, yes it's another Clarity!

hope you like it.

Speaking of Clarity, I finished my tv samples last night ready for Sunday, have you set your video to record?

Stop by tomorrow for news of a little giveaway...

Blokey old gift bag..

Good morning

Well the snow has all gone here, thankfully! Hope it's warming up where you are.

Today's project is a tad different, I managed to snaffle a batch of these cool Kraft bags to decorate...

Here's the first one

I had planned to do a pretty one but then I looked at bits that were lying around on my desk, and this is what happened....

I used some spray inks, bubble wrap and a cog mask from Splodge Away.

I did ask Stevie if it looked Blokey but I just got a teenage grunt, that could be good or bad, I'm never sure...

Thanks for stopping by!

Using up more bits...

Good morning

Today's card is another I made using up odd bits that were lying around when I tidied my desk

The 'needs using up' bits were the embossed bird, which is from a Dimension Stamps set, the punched edge strip, and the decorative motif die cut which was left over because it was the aperture that I wanted at the time.

So to put it together I used a music stamp from Clarity to stamp a background piece and a Lili of the Valley sentiment stamp.

Hope you like it!

Black and white snowflake

Good morning!

Hope you are all well, and not having too many problems with the rain...

Actually, is rain the least of our worries? Is today the last day?

I remember sitting in Mr Rogers English class in 1980 and debating the end of the world that was going to happen in 1984, my first thought was 'oh well it's ages away anyway' but when 84 came around I was very uneasy, especially because the nuclear threat from Russia was quite real at the time,it was a scary time so I hope I have managed to put Stevie and Amber's minds at ease a little so they don't feel the fear I did as a teenager.

Maybe we should start a 'nice' rumour and see if that spreads as quickly as the doom and gloom, in the meantime here is a card to take your mind off it...

This is one I made for my good friend and neighbour Julie and her family, she is Aunty Julie to the bunnies and fishies when I'm away.

I cut an aperture using a spellbinder, Venetian I think, backed it with black, added a white circle and punched snowflake. The stamps are from Claritystamp of course.

Hope you like it!

With warmest wishes...

Good afternoon!

Yep it's definitely after 12 instead of the usual 6am post, winter is playing havoc with me already so I went back to bed.

Now I'm up again I best show you a card.

Ok, boggy thingy has placed picture above text instead of below....

Let's try again with another pic

This is using the classroom kit, snowflake corner and sentiment from Claritystamp.

I wanted to do something different to everybody else with the Deer, but still not sure if I like this or not.

I found a couple of challenges for this

Crafts and me Christmas ornament optional

Fab & funky non traditional Christmas

Inky impressions snow/winter

Thanks for stopping by,stay warm!

Splodge Away & the Birdies.

Good evening!
This is another project using the lovely Bird stamps from Crafty Individuals.

I also used a cool aperture Splodge Away Mat that I had Tom from Splodge Away make for me, makes blending through an aperture much easier.

Text stamp is from Claritystamp and Im guessing you know where the Birdcage is from!
Pearly swirls are Cosmic Shimmer used with a Splodge Away mask.
