Smell the Roses

Hello!
Something a little different today.
I have had a couple of plant pots sat waiting to be loved for ages, so on Saturday when I was trying to decide what else to make for the Clarity 4 day deal shows this one was finally put to use!
I rubbed the pot with some Inca Gold paint in Rose red, stamped the roses onto tissue paper in Archival and then stuck to the pot with Glue & Seal, normally when I use tissue paper I try to disguise it but I wanted the added interest this time.
I also used my Clarity Scrabble set for the text, I coloured & shaded with a magenta Prisma pencil.
Finally I added some Gold coloured Inca gold to all the tissue paper overlaps.
I know its quite rustic and not to everybody's taste but I hope you like it!

See you soon.

  8. Brilliant idea, we've all seen and tried painting pots in all sorts of colours and mediums, but this one looks lovely with the stamping.
