Did you win the flowers?

Good Morning!

So late as usual, it's time to tell you who won the Sweet Lilac flowers from Kermit..

So, I asked how old you thought I was when I got together with the frog, and most of you made the mistake of doing your maths using the info in the 'about me' box over there---->

And that would have been clever if it was up to the minute info....but it's not been updated for a while, so I wasn't 5 as most of you said, I was 6.

Two people got it right, Linda Page and Wanda, and instead of choosing one of you, you can both have some flowers.

Don't worry if you didn't win, I have another nice giveaway lined up for next week, a couple of the newest coolest Clarity Stencils, so watch out for that.

We are family too

Morning-ish!

I've had a lazy one so far, but must get going very soon, but thought id blog quickly...

Here's a sample from telly using the Family Tree stencil and the bunny stamps.

The lone bunny at the front is Saphire sat watching from Rainbow Bridge, she would have been 4 this month..

Anyway, today's project is to build/erect/botch a stair or ramp system for Milly, Jake and big Sam to let themselves in and out of their new place, at the moment I'm having to lift them in and out which they don't particularly like, Sam in particular frets if he can't get back in when he's ready.

Ok, so before I reach for the drill, just quick reminder to put your name on the previous post if you would like to win some lush flowers.
Have a good one.

Flowers from my frog...

Morning!

And Happy Valentines to ya.

As you can see, me and my frog are still together and going strong after 38 years, he still hasn't turned into a prince but that's ok.

Kermy is feeling extra loved up this Valentines Day, and would like to send some pretty Sweet Lilac Flowers to a lucky crafter.

Maybe your own frog forgot to even get you a card? Soooo, if you fancy your chances with my frog, just leave a comment and take a guess how old I was when me and Kermy got together...

He will randomly pick a winner from correct answers on Monday.

Bullrushes

Goods Morning!

So 3 blog posts in a week, wonders never cease...

Today's card is one I made to use up a couple of scraps from my desk as they were fresh, I'm trying to turn over a new leaf, my friend Linda Page wiped the floor with me over my serious hoarding tendencies, but I can't bring myself to throw everything away so I thought if I used a few bits up as they appeared on my desk...

I used White Brilliance ink to stamp the Clever Urn and Bullrushes onto textured black card, because of the colours it seemed to take on an oriental feel so I grabbed on of the Chinese symbols.

I added a touch of red to the end of the Bullrushes using Prisma pencil.

Hope you like it.

Have a great day whatever your up to.

I used the Gerbera stamps again with Distress re-inkers..

One of my fave text stamps too...

And a biiiiig embossing folder from Spellbinders.

Hope you like it.

Colourful Gerbera

Good evening!

I thought I would do this now instead of in the morning, I will be running around getting ready for class at Crafts 4 U 2 Do in St Helens...

Actually this is a bit of a sneaky look at one of the projects we will be doing, Distress Re-inkers is the subject.

The stamps used are Large Gerbera and Love and Best Wishes, from Claritystamp of course.

I used these stamps for my friend Jeanette's birthday card too, show you tomorrow after she's opened it, Happy Birthday Jeanette!

Ok, sleep time, nighty night or good morning depending on when you read this.

Watery resist

Hello!

I won't bother with excuses about my absence, I'll just show you a card...

The background was created with a resist technique using Versamark to stamp various text on Clarity coated card, watered down ink was then transferred from a blending mat.

I mopped up the remaining ink with another piece of card and used it to paper piece the Sketched Lady.

Hope you like it!
