Bullrushes

Goods Morning!

So 3 blog posts in a week, wonders never cease...

Today's card is one I made to use up a couple of scraps from my desk as they were fresh, I'm trying to turn over a new leaf, my friend Linda Page wiped the floor with me over my serious hoarding tendencies, but I can't bring myself to throw everything away so I thought if I used a few bits up as they appeared on my desk...

I used White Brilliance ink to stamp the Clever Urn and Bullrushes onto textured black card, because of the colours it seemed to take on an oriental feel so I grabbed on of the Chinese symbols.

I added a touch of red to the end of the Bullrushes using Prisma pencil.

Hope you like it.

Have a great day whatever your up to.

  2. Beautiful card Maria and an inspired way to use the Chinese symbol. Think I might take a leaf out of your book and try to use my "bits" up, particularly if they produce something as stunning as this xxx
