Reflection/mirror technique, Clarity Dove but no brayer.

Good morning, its not noon just yet so its still morning!
A lady was talking about this card on a forum recently which started a discussion about the reflection/mirror technique, so I thought I would share the info on this particular card.

I didnt actually employ a reflection technique because I stamped onto velum, the translucency meant I could just turn it 'back to front' without losing any detail or depth of ink colour, I did the same for the extra wings that dont show up too well in the picture.  I coloured with white gel pen but bould have used an embossing tool for the same white effect and more dimension to the feathers.  Nothing scary there is there, go and get your velum out then!

The stamps are available from the Clarity shop,
The beautiful embossed card etc is from Hunkydory/ Cardcraft Plus, links to both shops can be found over on the right, toward the top-------->

Thanks for looking, hopefully see you tomorrow!

  3. Hi Maria
    This is so lovely!
I wonder if you could pop the measurements and brief instructions for the fab card you did on C&C last week please? It was one of the Hunkydory For Her card demos you did, and you used the really cute blonde girl with lilac dress in a circle, and you created a brilliant front fold style of card with two front wings, but each wing had an extra narrow folded section in. Hope this makes sense cos it is hard to explain!!
Be great if you could do this cos I have mislaid the scrap of paper I was scribbling notes on!
Many thanks and keep up your fantastic cards, you are so talented!
    Take care
    luv Debs x

  4. Hi Maria,
This card is drop-dead gorgeous. I love the colors and the simplicity of the design. I especially love the images and how you incorporated the scroll-y leaves onto a torn piece of paper, just stunning.
Haven't checked your blog in a while, but have made special note to do so in the future.
