  2. Oh your are a very lucky person if you are able to go to either of the new workshops. I go to Clarity NW in Preston and it is FANTASTIC we learn all sorts of amazing stuff and we have a great time - at one stage yesterday I was laughing so much I was crying. Maria is a great teacher and gives us some brilliant projects to do each month, some more challenging than others - but if you are not challenged then you never learn anything and it is all rounded off with cake, tea/coffee and a little crafty shop woo hoo
Got to be one of the best ways to spend a day. Love today's car too xx

  5. Went for the first time to Maria's NW workshop in Preston and had a fantastic time. Maria is a brilliant and very patient teacher. Shown several techniques some more challenging than others but Maria lets everyone work at their own pace. The group are really friendly and very welcoming to newcomers. Can't wait for next month. xx

  9. Maria is true inspiration, she has the patience of a saint and there is no pre-conception that everyone can do every technique that she expertly demonstrates. The ladies and gents are brilliant and make you feel welcome as soon as you get there. We dont always make cards but always leave with an uplifted spirit and something beautiful. The only problem that me and my21 year old daughter have----- we cant make every class. I recommend Maria's classes unreservedly to all level of crafters.Sign up and enjoy!!!!

  13. I started going to Maria's classes in the spring and have loved every single one of them. It's great to spend the day with like minded people and I've learnt so much. Maria comes up with some wonderful designs, some more challenging than others, but all achievable because of the support of Maria and the other crafters there. If you've loved watching Barbara Grey and Maria on TV and want hands on tuition then don't hesitate and book your class today...especially if you like cake and laughing :)

  14. Book it without hesitation! You will learn so much, be taught by a very talented and inspirational lady, meet lots of friendly people and have a great laugh. If you're anything like me, you'll achieve things you probably thought you couldn't do and go home with some little gems. And what's more, there's cake!

  16. Oh you lucky people if you are signing up to Maria's workshops in Chester, I go to the Preston classes and wouldn't miss them for the world. Maria Simms is very talented, inspirational and a very patient teacher not forgetting she is also a very nice person. We have such fun at the classes and learn so much, we are challenged and therefore create things we would never have thought of creating. The group is very friendly and we all help each other out and sometimes we even have cake with our coffee. So if you have the opportunity to join in a group go for it, you will have a ball and make many new friends,
