Easy Pastel Birdcage

Good Morning!
I thought I had better blog as irts been too chaotic for the last few days.

This is an A5 card using some of my fave Crafty Individual stamps.
I diecut a birdcage from copier paper to use the aperture as a mask to ink Tunmbled Glass, Spun Sugar & Milled Lavender through. Then I simply stamped the background in Milled Lavender and the Bird on a Branch in Black.

I added an organza bow and a big gem, matted up and fixed to a centura pearl card blank.
Hope you like it!
I will see you tomorrow to show you one of the Splodge Away cards I demo'd on Ideal World on Wednesday.

And the Heart of the Season....

Good Morning
Im a little excited today, picking my new car up this afternoon!  I have mixed feelings about saying goodbye to the old one, I think he might have been cursed from birth there has been so many things gone wrong, but then again, even with all the probs and needing a second hand engine transplant at the age of 4 he has got me safely up and down for country without leaving me sat on the hard shoulder of the motorway!

Here is another Clarity sample using the new Christmas stamps.
I used Flitter Glu and Guilding flakes on this one.

Apologies for the dodgy pics, I was rushing to get them in the post.

I think this one is quite self explanatory isnt it?

Thanks for looking, have a good one!

The Gladness of the Season...

Good Morning everybody!
Im told that this card caused some discussion when Barbara showed it on tv, unfortunately I dont often get to see the shows live but my lovely Facebook friend Pauline Ellerington sends me discs with the shows on so I get to watch at a later date.
I stamped onto Cream stamping card with Expresso ink and coloured with Tan & Caramel Promarkers.
I glazes several stripes with glossy and sprinkled a little Glamour Dust.
The paper is from First Edition, Isabella I think, It matched the Weathered Wood I used to ink the edges of the toppers.

Thats it for today, come back tomorrow for a little giveaway.

Pink & Kraft cutie.

Good Morning
I thought I would show you something different today.
I love playing around with colouring in & prettyness but dont often get the time, so you can imagine my excitement when I got my hands on some stunning toppers from The Hobby House.
Also gave me an excuse to get the First Edition papers out too!

The Kraft card is from The Hobby House too, as are the pearls.

Have a good one!

Black & White Noel

Good Morning!
Hope you have had a good week, the pace has slowed a tiny bit for me finally this week, having said that, I am at Preston today and Stevenage tomorrow, so its not that quiet!

I know I probably wont have time to blog until Monday so I will do it now.  This is another card using the new Clarity Christmas stamps.
This set screamed 'Black & White' to me, and to be fair, I have used loads of colour recently so I needed to indulge my love of Mono.
I just masked the centre of the card, stamped the Dove stamp accross and added a little sponged ink before removing the masking tape.
Then I stamped the Bauble with Noel and added white dots, then inked the edges.
The metal charms are from my ebay mate in China.

Have a good weekend and come say hello if your at Stevenage tomorrow!

Those Clarity stocking again!

Morning!

Here is another 'Twas the Night' sample from the weekend's Clarity shows on Create & Craft.

I Just stamped on Cream card 3 times in Brown, coloured parts of the stockings pink and cut out, then cut out the words.  I know this looks more black and white in the picture but its definitely cream, pink and brown.

Have a good day!

Clarity Christmas has begun.

Good Morning, did you wonder where I had disappeared to?  Its just been a hectic couple of weeks and unfortunately its not always easy to blog when Im away from home, when I have driven for hours then worked all day the last thing I want to do is faff about with the laptop- If I had an ipad it would be easier wouldnt it!
Anyway, Im here now, so here is one of my samples for the Claritystamp shows at the weekend and a couple of other pics.

This is using one of the Twas the Night stamps.
I coloured with copics and used my Splodge Away mat for the edges of the topper.
I wanted a button or something for the middle of the bow but I couldnt find anything that matched, so I decided to try something...

The 'button' is made from Pinflair glue gel, I just spread it into a silicon mould and left it to dry, I may do this more often!

Here is a couple of pics from the weekend 'up north'
Our Amber feeding the Lambs at the farm with Annette's mum Anne.

And my good buddy Annette feeding the billy goats!

Hope your weekend was as good as mine, see you soon.
