Mocha Dressform

Todays card is actually a topper, this was a workshop piece from a while ago and I dont normally put workshop examples together as an actual card because if its not sent to anyone then its a bit of a waste, so I make it as a topper instead.

This is using the Steampunk Dreams stamps from Creative Expressions.
Ink used is Expresso Adirondack, first & second generation.
The embossing powder is a stunning colour, its Ancient copper from Cosmic Shimmer.
Can you see how soft the blending is on the background circle? that is courtesy of Splodge Away!
The cutting die is from Creata, I got this from Carley Duff ages ago, she's a lovely girl.
A big gem brad & the mandatory bit of twine to finish, the class matted theirs up and stuck it on a cream 8x8 card blank.
Hope you like it.

  1. Love this sample, Maria shading and blending are so subtle.Had my splodgeaway mat today from C&C and i am well impressed, Maria. Just as you said lovely smooth blending - no effort. The Steampunk masks give a great emboss and will be great for those mancards.

  2. I love those stamps Maria I've used mine a lot ...great blending :))))

  3. This is really lovely Maria, your emboss looks stunning and beautifully done:)x

  4. Beautiful card! Really like the dimension and use of that twine too! So pretty.

  5. This is lovely Maria, this is one of my favorite stamps. The colour scheme on this card is gorgeous.

  6. A really lovely card. that Cosmic Shimmer Ancient Copper is just beautiful. Really jealous I missed out on getting a splodgaway mat as I do suffer with a little bit of heavy handedness with my blending and I think from seeing the video clips it would really help me.

  7. Beautiful topper Maria! I can't believe I missed the new Splodge Away Mat on Create and Craft!
