Vintage Gelli not Vodka Jelly

Good Morning!

I was flicking through looking for something to show you for today, this is what I found..

This was done using up a piece of Gelli plate waste, it was the piece I blotted with before I pulled my print, too good for the bin don't you think?

Then for a very simple focal piece I used a die cut from a Tim Holtz bigz die, stamped my beloved vintage car, then gently brushed Slate ink downwards through the same stencil as the Gellied background.

I haven't added links to any products this time, brain isn't fully functional yet, it's 3.20 am! But I'm sure you can guess the stamp, stencil,Gelli are all from Claritystamp.

Ok I'm off to either mooch about in the dark and make a drink or just lay back down and toss/turn a while longer..

Have a good day!

Last one of the year

Good Morning!

Call me lazy but..I'm sat in bed blogging. I did work hard yesterday though.

It was the last Claritystampers Northwest class of the year, so we had to celebrate the year!

Most of the photos were too explicit to show you, honestly they get a whiff of a vol au vent and they go mental, It took me until midnight to clean up the tequila glasses and pull down the bunting they made out of their bras, there was knickers hanging from the Christmas tree (next to Jo's tassels).....Linda,Carol,and Jane are still waiting to be bailed out of Jail.

Ok so the bit about the tequila glasses wasn't true...but we did have vol au vents...

And we nearly lost Jo to the curtain monster..

And would you believe they managed to do a bit of Claritystamping before the riot squad turned up to replenish the Vodka and peanuts...

I've worked them all so hard all year that they need a month off!

Have a great Sunday, whatever your doing.

Sneak peek...

Happy Friday!

Yes it's happy, forget that it's the 13th and make your own luck...

I thought I would give a tinsy winsy little sneak peek of one of the Clarity class projects for the Preston gang tomorrow, the ladies at Shrewsbury and Chester really enjoyed this.

I'm hoping the projects don't get covered in party food tomorrow as its our last meeting before Christmas, I suppose they might behave if nobody brings Vodka Jelly...

If you have never taken the plunge and come to one of our classes why not join us in either Shrewsbury,Preston or Chester. If you would like more details please email me.

Also don't forget the other regional Claritystamp workshops dotted around the country, click here for more info.

Thanks for stopping by!

Another journal page...

Hello there!

I was looking through my pics deciding what to show you and I spotted a pic of my most recently finished journal page...

I haven't picked my journal up in ages...

Just incase you where wondering about the bird on the right hand page...it was an old stencil done with acrylic paint.

I think the owl eyes look spooky highlighted.

Thanks for stopping by, have a good day!

Frosty

Good evening!

Another Christmas card today..

You may recognise Frosty

I stamped him twice and masked, then stamped the dude in the background..

I coloured with Copics.

The lovely flowers are from Sweet Lilac

The embossing folder is an A4 from Spellbinders.

A few of you asked about the embossing folder that I used on the Moonfairy card..here it is.

Thanks for stopping by!

Moonfairy

Good Morning!

Start of another fun filled week, not quite so manic though hopefully. I have 2 classes this week and both are prepped already.

I may get to make a few more Christmas cards, who knows..

Here is another Christmas card I did for Creative Cardmaking.

I used the large Moonfairy Claritystamp. An 8x8 embossing folder, and some flowers from Sweet Lilac.

This was piece on Copics for Beginners, so I didn't get carried away with the colouring.

I hope you like it!

Thanks for stopping by.

A ride around the British Isles...

Happy Sunday to ya!

Shhh, don't wake me up....when this goes live, I will either be talking in my sleep or snoring loudly or both...

I did work hard yesterday though.

Anyway, here is another of my samples from last weekend.

I used the new British Isles stamps along with the Harley and Life is a Journey, which I use a lot!

The ink I used...if I remember rightly, I used Cranberry Adi to stamp the solid British Isles and Plum Archival to stamp the outline and other images.

Hope you like it!

Come back tomorrow to see another Copic coloured Christmas card..I may be awake then too!

Chrysanthemum....

Afternoon!

It's been a tad breezy here, not too bad today but wild in the night. I've seen pics of New Brighton, very sad indeed, the town has only recently started to come to life again and it's been badly flooded.

I hope it passes soon and you all stay safe...

Today's project is a Diar...I don't know how to spell it so lets just call it a Dalai Lama ok?

I used the lovely Chrysanthemum stamps, stamped and masked the three at the bottom, then used the oval aperture stencil to cut the window. I added the banner made with the new Letterbox sentiment kit and a purple more blooms.

The back panel was done with Madeleine stencil and Slate ink.

Hope you like it!

Flower Stencil

Afternoon!

Today's card is another of my samples for Barbara's tv shows last Sunday..

I love this Flower stencil because it is so detailed and yet it's still really solid and sturdy.

I had a few ideas of what I wanted to do with it, and to be honest this wasn't one of the ideas, it just happened! But I like it.

I also used the new mini Letterbox sentiment kit.

Barbara has been playing with a different stencil on her blog post, have a look!

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.

Advent 2013

Afternoon!

I just realised its December 1st, so it's time to show you my Advent project.

I've kept this under wraps for months, there was a lot of work put into the design and measurements of this, so there was no way I was going to risk the design being 'borrowed' by companies that I won't mention, they know who they are...

Products used include

Claritystamp Letterbox kit and Numbers kit.

First Edition Nordic paper and embellishments.

Tonic Holly cutting die.

This is the front..

And this is the side view..

The first page..

And last page.

I thought I might do a brayered scene to go in here, or a photograph.

Hope you like it.

Come back tomorrow for the first of my Clarity samples from Barb's shows this weekend.
