Cranberry Butterfly

Good Morning

Another really quick post today, I'm running around trying to get finished off ready for tv on Tuesday.

Here is one of the projects we did in class last weekend

Just Incase you don't recognise the stamp, it the Butterfly Montage from Claritystamp.

We did a resist background and used spray inks, then used just part of the stamp for the focal piece.

Thanks for looking!

Have a great Sunday.

Marble and Shells

Good morning!

And a big Hello to my new followers, I'm glad you found me!

I'm busy this week working on Samples for Barbara's tv shows for May and prep for my class on Saturday, what are you up to?

I had a dig around to see what I have that it's ok to show you...not a lot, because most of what's here is to be kept under wraps for now.

I did find this though..

Does the background look a bit like Brightly coloured Marble?

I used a couple of Mica colours and Gilding on Adhesive sheet.

I coloured the Clarity Shell Cluster with Distress Markers, Barbara is now stocking them on the Claritystamp website, so if your a New Design Club member you can get your discount on them!

Thanks for stopping by!

Hazelnut Floribunde.

Morning!

Well its cloudy on the Wirral this morning but the sun is trying to break through, here's wishing for a nice day for everybody!

Today's card is a quickie using the Clarity Floribunde stamp

These colours were used in a LIM challenge a while ago but I didn't have time to load this one.

I just masked the area, stamped, inked, then added a couple of score lines.

Hope you like it.

Thanks for stopping by.

Clarity Shell Shopper

Good nearly afternoon to you!

Yes I'm late, nope I didn't sleep late..

I've been busy prepping for Sunday's Clarity workshop, this one is a little different because we are bringing back into play some of the stamps we have collected over the months and taking another look at them.

I won't show you the class cards, they are a secret until the class sees them..

But here is another sample from Barbara's tv shows from this month.

This is the bag I decorated using a piece of cotton printed using my Gelli Plate.

Stamps used are the Shell Corner and matching sentiment

A bit of Angelina Fibre going on too..with a touch of Gilding mixed in.

I used the paints that Barbara uses on her Gelli.

Hope you like it!

Oh by the way, I'm hoping to confirm tv dates very soon, will let you know...

Hello!
Just to let you know I haven't forgotten about measurements for the Butterfly Montage shadow box I demo'd on Create and Craft yesterday, I thought it would be nice to do an actual tutorial for it, so please give me 1-2 days to get that done for you ok?
Go grab the stamps while your waiting, they sold out on the show so you would need to get them from Claritystamp, there is free p&p this month....

Laurel and Douglas

Evening!

Just a quick post before I go sleep.

It's been a great weekend at Ally Pally but we have all worked really hard, thank you to everybody who came along and supported Team Claritystamp.

This is an 8x8 card using Laurel and Douglas...

I think the Paris skyline mask is great in the background.

I also used the texture stamps...

A close up...do you like his gold tailcoat?

Ok, I'm off. Thanks for stopping by, don't forget I'm on Create and Craft on Tuesday morning with some of my fave Claritystamps, check the schedule for times as it is subject to change.

Nighty night.

Quick Lime and Black

Good morning!

I'm hoping I didn't miss the deadline for this, I have been planning on joining the Lime and Black challenge over at Less is More all week...

I ended up doing this in the middle of yet another disturbed night..

I was killing time, but I didn't consciously reach for the Clarity Fob Watch, it just happened lol.

Ok that's it for now, I have to get showered and dressed and off to North Wales to get my nails done so they look pretty on tv, then pack for Ally Pally...

Clarity shells and a dab of paint...

Good Morning!

As promised, I'm trying to make amends for my absence..

This is another of my samples from the weekend

I used my Gelli for the background but it was a bit bright,so o gave it a white wash.

I made the tags with the Gelli too, but instead of painting the whole Gelli I just randomly slapped enough paint to stamp the shell into.

The frantage on the bottom tag is disguising something....I thought I would add a couple of pearls to the frantage for effect.

That's it!

Thanks for stopping by, have a good day.

Gellied Douglas...

Yep I've been AWOL again,sorry!

I will try to make up for it by scheduling a few posts tonight.

I started prepping today ready for next Tuesday, me doing Clarity on the telly!!!! Who would have thought it..

Before I get too carried away, here is one of my samples from the weekend.

Now I don't know where I got this from but, I thought his name was Frank, but it's actually Douglas, doesn't even sound like it!

Anyways, I used one of my practice Gelli Plate backgrounds for the frame and paper pieced the trousers with a matching off cut.

Hope you like it!
