Competition card

This is the card i won at Happy Stampers with on Saturday-im still a bit stunned, there was about 150 entries apparently!
As you can see the theme was black and white-no grey or skin tones allowed.

The image is Sugar Nellie's Goth Girl, the skull and crossbone is from Lost Coast (it was a long strip border stamp but i cut 1 off the end to use alone for little embellies etc,its now one of my most used stamps)
As you can see, i have made my own backing papers, black on black and then white on black.  I made the embellies with the skull and then the edge is from a Paula Pascual sentiment set- i thought it made them look like pirate coins.
The punch is an MS

I coloured using my Fineliner pen.
Because i was not allowed to do my usual shading with grey tones i needed something to make the image pop,so i highlighted the edges with glitter.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges
By the cute and girly  Spooky
Cute card thursday #133  Make your own (embellies)
Simon Says Halloween
Crafts and me #14  For a Teenager
Stamp something  Punchy
Allsorts #73 Song title (strange little girl,Marc Almond i think?)

Creative inspirations #81 Birthday theme
Craftalicious #10 Anything goes
Ali's sunday Halloween

  5. Well done on winning, Maria! I was working on the competition table when the winners were announced - I was looking out for you to say hello but didn't spot you. Hope you enjoyed the rest of the day at the show - I was there most of the day and had a great time apart from the heat inside the hall!!
