My first Magnolia card.

I could never decide if i liked them or not, but when i was at Inspirations in Preston last week the lovely Linda convinced me, so this is my first effort.  Its nice once in a while to do something just for fun and not DT related too.

Papers are from Papermania (they are ancient).
Cutting dies and punches are from the usual suspects.

Pormarkers used
Hair.. Ivory, Tan, Cocoa
Skin..Ivory, Blush, Apricot, Pale pink for cheeks
The rest.. Lilac, Lavender, Amethyst, Grey 1, Pear green
I used a tiny bit of stickles on the flowers.

I think i may have been bitten by the Magnolia bug (as predicted by Linda) because i cant wait to go back for more tomorrow!  Incase you didnt know, its birthday week at Inspirations this week-free goody bags,Workshops with top crafters, Free demo's, huuuuge selection of goodies including Hunkydory.
Woohoo! Dont miss out.!

Answering your question about D4th this month.... I do think it's good value for money, but of late I have been disapointed with what they have sent!!

  10. Isn't it great to do 'non-DT' stuff every once in a while? I wasn't sure about Tilda's when I first encountered them either; now I know that I like them - they are super cute!! But I still can't colour them, LOL! Your colouring is the first thing I noticed - just beautiful :)

  20. That is gorgeous, Maria! I have a few Tilda stamps too and they are really pretty - I know some people think they're a bit odd because they don't have a mouth but that seems to be a trend with lots of stamps!
