Start with an A3 piece of card, position it landscape and score down top to bottom at 9.5 cm,11.5 cm, 21cm.
Fold down the 21cm line so it now resembles an A4 card blank.
Turn the new card shape to landscape, and cut down the middle (about 15cm across).
You now have the basic card base to make 2 of these cards, just crease the 2 other score line to give the triangular shape.
You can now stick whatever size/shape topper to the 2cm panel in the middle. You can also choose how wide to make your end/stopper panel at the side of the card-the wider this panel the more the 'triangle' will stick out when standing up.
Does any of that make even the slightest bit of sense????
Over the next few days i will post instructions/measures for a smaller version and a couple of variations.
Right onto this card, i have named it a side easel by the way-thats where it evolved from. I decided to do a dangly in aperture for this one to make it a bit different.
I have used a digi from Eiglas called cheeky snowman,so i had to give it a cheeky sentiment didnt i! I have coloured with promarkers and outlined with crystal glamour dust and highlighted with a white pen and finished off with liquid pearls. The paper is from DCWV,the brad is from Papermania. The edge punch is a Martha,my dad bought it for me this afternoon! Thanks Dad.xx
This is the laying flat view, will fit into a nornal A5 envelope. |
