Wishes

Good Morning, yes it's not noon yet...

The sun is shining again, which makes me happy, and using up painty scraps off my table with my pretty new fairiy wee folk stamps also makes me happy.

I have enough bits on my desk from playing with distress paint to do a batch of these quickly, I have a couple of charities that are due some cards but it's tricky when time is short, so I'm happy to use this sketch.

And I'm especially happy when my card fits the following challenges

Less is More makes you happy

Last minute Less is More...

Blimey I've left this late again!

This weeks challenge over at Less is More is using a colour wheel...

I went with Violet and Yellow Green

I mixed my inks on my Splodge Away and stamped my Clarity Leafy Swirl twice, then the little Hummingbird and sentiment in Black Archival.

Oh and speaking of challenges, don't forget about this months Clarity challenge over on the blog, the theme is to make your sentiment the focal of your card.

Thanks for stopping by.

Quick Lime and Black

Good morning!

I'm hoping I didn't miss the deadline for this, I have been planning on joining the Lime and Black challenge over at Less is More all week...

I ended up doing this in the middle of yet another disturbed night..

I was killing time, but I didn't consciously reach for the Clarity Fob Watch, it just happened lol.

Ok that's it for now, I have to get showered and dressed and off to North Wales to get my nails done so they look pretty on tv, then pack for Ally Pally...

A musical number!

Are your eyes deceiving you?

2 posts in the same day?

Yes it's really happening!

The nice postman (he is nice too!) brought me something and it is perfect for this weeks Musical challenge over at Less is More...

I spotted this image in the thumbnails at Less is More weeks ago and it grabbed my attention, so I have been a patient girl waiting for it to come across the pond to me!

It's an Inkadinkado and luck had it that I had the Meow in an old Inkadinkado set, perfect!

Speaking of 'musical', here is something very musical, it's our Quaver the Canary, he normally flutters between the kitchen and living room but he came looking for me today.

Right, back to work I go...

Good Morning!

Today's card was made for the Cream and Kraft challenge over at Less is More, it's their 2nd birthday too, congrats to Chrissie, Jen, Mandi.

I had no idea what I was going to make when I started but this one just happened because the heart punch was sat on my desk.

Thanks for stopping by!

Left over ink...

Good morning!

Well I'm trying again with this new app for blogging on my iPad, wonder if it will be easier than yesterday...

I said I would show you what I did with the left over ink from yesterday's card, so here it is

I simply mopped up the excess ink from my Splodge mat and trimmed, I stamped with the Floribunda and Yesterday verse both from Clarity, then i accented with white gel pen, eeeeeasy!

Hope you like it.

Would be rude not to enter it into the Pink challenge at Less is More...

Less is more,in pink.

Good afternoon!
I am still trying re-organise the temple, it was worth the malarkey of the hammering and drilling and even the brick dust which my remaining lung is loving, but it's been good to have a good old sort out. I have made a few cards from bits and bobs off my desk that I have been refusing to sling for so long, I will show you when the glue dries etc, in the meantime I spotted a 'pink' challenge over at Less is More, now you know I don't do a lot of pink usually, but I just fancied a bash.

I used a couple of my fave Clarity stamps (which are now in place and looking great on the newly built racks, show off!)

Inks used were Pink Sherbet, Raspberry, Wild Plum Adirondacks.
Other bits used, Splodge mat, blending tool, white and black pens.

I made another piece a little different with the waste ink from this one, show you tomorrow.
