Card 1 for my Friday Class.

Im getting through all the cards i have to show you, little by little! Im having to schedule my blog posts to do it each day though because its crazy busy at the moment.

This is one of the cards i have prepped for my Stamping class on Friday

This is using a Penny Black stamp on Pearlised card. Clalk inks/Brilliance inks are quite good for stamping on Pearly card.

Thanks for looking!

Mint Choc Chip Flowers!

Another Flower folding card idea for you today.  I love these colours together!
The 'Layer me up' shapes are so quick and easy- i have talked to the boss about some new shapes, so fingers crossed...
I think the over the edge effect of the flowers is quite effective, what do you think?

Elegant Platinum.

As promised, here is another Christmas Elegance card. This is an 8x8 card, i used one of the A5 card blanks cut to size and covered the score line with the snowflake border.

I have scheduled this post (and the next couple) because hopefully i will be working flat out on the new Night Before Christmas kit, which you will be seeing quite soon!

Hello Flower!

With any luck everybody has had their Flower Folding pick of the week delivered by now, so its time for some sample reminders.

I will start with one of my faves, i was really pleased with how this turned out.
I got a surprise when i saw Nancy Watt  re-creating it as one of her demo's, its a confidence booster to know other designers want to use your work on TV!

I made this using the edge of one of the shaped card blanks for the flap, some double sided papers, mirri, embossed card, die cut flowers etc..
Come back tomorrow for a Christmas Elegance card.

Frosted Christmas!

I still have tons of stuff to show you but cant decide what to show you first!
Here is another Christmas Elegance idea, while i try to decide.

I mixed the colours up a little on this one. I cut the baubles out and put acetate on the back instead.

See you tomorrow for....whatever i finally decide on!

Just a bit inky!

I did plan on having a lay in today but im up and about and ready to rock & roll! So while im messing about on the laptop i thought id load another Clarity card- i still have a handful to show you.

I made this using one of the lovely text corners and the small Alium flower. I used Cranberry Adirondack and Victorian Velvet distress ink.

Its 6x6 inch by the way!

If you would like the stamps click HERE to go to Barb's place!

Have a great day.

Another Frosted Christmas Elegance idea.

I have been sooo mega busy that i have neglected poor old bloggy! So i thought i would post a quicky while im waiting around in the green room.

This is another of the 8x8 frame cards that i demo'd earlier in the week, just using the sleigh etc instead of the baubles.

If i get time later i will photograph some of the demo's i did with Nigel at 3pm.

Hope you like it!

Wednesday 15 June 2011

Peel me a Clarity grape!

I thought it was time to show you another Claritystamp card

I used circle masks and a brayer with Cranberry Adirondack inkpad for this 8x8 card, and Barbara's fantastic stamps of course!

The grapes and the leaves are separate stamps, very versatile!
Thanks for looking.

Tuesday 14 June 2011

Its Barbara Gray's Madeleine again!

I did this stepper with my workshop ladies, they loved it!
I didnt shade the image very much on this because i didnt want anyone to feel the project was not achievable.
I love this sentiment, i have stated using the blender tool around the edges, i find it more reliable than a sponge when time is short.

Hope you like her!

Day 3 of Hunkydory His & Hers ideas.

So as promised. This is another clean & simple design, really quick and easy-great for your batch cards!

Hope you have been enjoying the new Christmas Elegance kit shows, keep watching the tv schedules for further shows and i will post some cards soon!

Dont forget there is still time to grab your Flower Folding Pick of the Week too.

Also, I cant say much yet but it might be an idea to keep an eye out for whats on Create & Craft/Ideal World on Tuesday, Wednesday, and the rest of the week! There may be something new and LUSH!!!

Right onto todays card, its an 8x8 inch.

Hope you like it, come back tomorrow for another idea!

Hunkydory for a vintage bloke.

I was trying to decide which of last weeks Hunkydory cards to show you first, i decided on this as its a blokey one.

I used some tartan backing paper, a decoupage sheet and a slice out of an A4 printed card. I have been playing with my new button punch quite a bit too!

Thanks for looking!

Clarity's Madeleine with a little Zentangle!

This is still one of my fave Clarity stamps, and my fave colour combo of course!  I dont do much Zentangle but its good to just doodle once in a while.  This is one of the cards made in class on Saturday at Inspirations in Preston.

Black fine liner pens write/doodle really nicely on the coated card stock.

Hope you like it!
