Paris Collage by Clarity

This is one of my example cards for my Clarity workshop last week.

I used Paris Collage, its one of my fave stamps!

I used Cranberry Adirondack inkpad to stamp and colour.

The background was stamped randomly and clear embossed, the watches were glazes with glossy accents.

There are 4 layers decoupaged.

I used silk art card from Hunkydory for layering up.

This card has been sitting waiting to be loaded onto my computer for about 3 weeks, why is there only 24 hours in a day and why are there only 7 days in a week??

The paper is from Papermania. Flowers from Wild Orchid.

I made the gem centres for the flowers by squeezing on a bit of liquid pearls and gently putting a gem on top.

I coloured with PM's.

I made this with the new Windows to the Heart Kit from Hunkydory.

I love the double sided papers-its like having 2 sets!

All I used from the kit for this card was 1 topper, i sheet of double sided paper,the back of the panel the topper came from.  I die cut the little champers glasses from the corner of the topper card.

Some diamond sparkles on the ice cubes and to make sparkly bubbles on the glasses.

Cards from my first workshop.

I thought i would show you some of the cards my ladies did on my Clarity Stamp workshop on Tuesday at Inspirations in Preston (Cardcraft Plus). I wanted to cover Brayering techniques but not spend all day on it, i thought it might be too much for people who were very new, so we did cards with a variety of techniques-the plan was something for everybody!

Please forgive the photography- it doesnt do these cards justice at all, i was rushing to grab a handful of ladies cards as they were on the way out the door, so this is not everybody's work.

These were made by Gill, Di, Christine. Their 1st ever attempt with a brayer,well done girls!

The 'Cranberry' Parisian cards were made by Irene, Gill, Frances,Di, Margaret, Christine.

This is a close up of mine to show a bit more detail, the white background is clear embossed, it look s really effective in the flesh- you just cant see it in pics!!! There are 4 layers decoupaged up.

Only a couple of ladies squeezed the blue one in.

Well i must be feeling brave because i have provisionally set a date for my next Clarity workshop, thinking of an Elegance theme using masking, resist,sponging etc.

New Flowers and inky fingers!!

Ooh the ink has been busy this week, my fingers have been covered in it!

This is one the cards i made using some of the brand new Clarity Stamps from Barbara Gray.

I stamped the flowers in Denim Adirondack and then coloured/covered them with my versamark pen, embossed them with clear powder. Then sponged the ink around, left to dry properly and then buffed the white flowers.

Sassy Scarlett in coffee and cream!

I should have posted this the day before yesterday but was worn out by the time i got home and then last night the pics just would not load!!!!

I cant remember what this Lili of the Valley stamp is called, i won it on Dawny's blog along with some flowers that never arrived, oh well never mind.  This is one of the ton of images i coloured on the train the other week, i just need to make them into cards now.
