If you see me on a Train dont talk to me!

It happened again, i NEEDED to buy another Maggy-no its true this time. I have been going to Cardcraft Plus in Preston for a few days to help Anne-Marie prepare for the Pick of the Day on Ideal World (Tuesday 9pm) I have had to use the train because my car let me down, anyway, whenever i make eye contact with anyone on a train they turn out to be a looney and want to talk to me for the whole hour journey, sooo, i took a handful of PM's and a few stamped images and just kept my head down, woohoo it worked!  but i ran out of images and needed some for the homeward journey on friday.  In my defense, i spent 4 days surrounded by a craft heaven and didnt spend very much!

Right then, my card. I had the 2 Maggy challenges in mind when doing this.

The paper is from Papermania.  The sentiment is a LOTV.  The flowers i won from Wild Orchid, Yay!
The doily is my Die-namics cutting die.  I may have bought the tag die from Preston with my Maggy....

Looks far nicer in he flesh.

Promarkers used

Hair. Ivory,Tan.
Skin. Oatmeal,Blush,Ivory.
Lavender,Orchid, Tea Green.

The paper is from Dovecraft, i have a ton of this which i bought ages ago in a sale.
The ribbon threaded lace is from my stash.

Happy Valentines???

Did you wake up next to a frog too? well at least mine doesnt snore, fart or scratch his butt in bed-nor does he answer me back!!  My mum always said to find your prince you had to kiss a frog,so did she lie to me?? I have been kissing Kermy since 1976, and he is still a frog mum!  Actually he is lucky to have survived 34 years with me, in those early days i was forever rescuing him from either a bully or the teeth of a Jack Russell (that explains his chewed tongue and bite marks on his eyes) he has had both eyes glued back on more than once.
Anyway, whatever your doing for Valentines Day, enjoy it.
Love from me and kermy!

My first Magnolia card.

I could never decide if i liked them or not, but when i was at Inspirations in Preston last week the lovely Linda convinced me, so this is my first effort.  Its nice once in a while to do something just for fun and not DT related too.

Cutting dies and punches are from the usual suspects.

Pormarkers used

I used a tiny bit of stickles on the flowers.

Its Sassy, but not black, white and red!

I realised there was another trend starting, in my quest to avoid doing too much mono stuff i find myself doing tons of black, white red! Sooo, this one isnt. Luckily i had a few images already coloured because time is really short at the moment- i have a huge amount going on.  I used todays card for the Sassy sponsorship over at Stamp Something, the challenge theme is Use a Digi.

I have coloured with PM's and glazed the bubbles with glossy accents.
The backing paper is from Forever Friends.
The edging is a border die from Dies to die for, and i have to tell you its lovely! I ordered this and the matching Die-namics doily, they came really fast and there was a p&p refund attached because it didnt cost too much to post- yeah really! Thank you for being so fair Tracy, i will be back for sure!!
Anyway back to the dies, in my excited rush to test them out i forgot to rub them with my tumble dryer sheet, but it didnt matter because there are little holes in the die so you dont have to perform open heart surgery on the die cut to remove it from the die, woohoo! They cut clean and beautifully and i highly recommend them.
