Free Dragonfly Digi stamp,by Sarah Hurley

I made this using the freebie digi stamp on Sarah Hurley's blog. I used expresso and butterscotch dye inks to distress and stamped the pocket watch using coffee archival ink. You can just see the acetate wings with the glittered edges.
The pocket watch stamp and sentiment are from Claritystamp ltd.
Im going to do a girly card using this dragonfly when i have sorted all my challenge cards out for this week,so watch for it if you would like ideas on how to use the dragonfly.

This is an A5 stepper using silhouette cat stamps from Little Claire. I used a paper moon mask and brayer to achieve the sky effect, and glittered the moon of course!

Monday, 7 June 2010

This is an A4 card using my large number stamps, deco ladies, corners/borders set, june project club, all from Dimension Fourth. Glazed with versamark and clear embossing powder, coloured with promarkers. Im loving the size of the blank vase stamp for stamping inside it.

Sweet Pea Stripes

I have had to sit around a lot over the last few days with my poorly bits, so i thought i would do some colouring in with my beloved promarkers!! This is a Sweetpea rubber stamped image. I made a mask to cover image so i could sponge background, think it needs to be a bit more vivid but the technique was ok. i was really pleased and then decided to glaze the moon with glossy accents, unfortunately bleedproof paper wrinkles as you can see! never mind, they say you learn something every day-lesson learned.

Monday, 17 May 2010

Im quite pleased with this, i borrowed Amber's stamps for this, both from Claritystamp ltd. Coloured lady with promarkers and glazed the flowers in her hair, you cant see it in pic. I inked edges of sentiment with black dye ink and sponge.

This is Amber's card, yes really!! The lady is a rubber stamp from Amber's fave stamp company.

Check out the shading on the face! this was only her second card using my promarkers, the hair is great too, kids are far more brave when it comes to colour. This card is entered in the kids challenge for May on facebook, fingers crossed! I love this layout so much i will be using it myself, thank you Amber!!
